WELCOME TO THE ITÄVÄYLÄ LEFT ALLIANCE CHAPTER!
Our active chapter is one of the fifteen local branches of the Helsinki Left Alliance. Our area of operation covers Herttoniemi, Roihuvuori, Kulosaari, Laajasalo, and Vuosaari. We believe solidarity is important; it is only natural, then, for us to occasionally venture beyond our own area and take part in joint events with other chapters. After all, we are all part of the Left!
We raise the party’s profile by campaigning in our own area, as well as in other eastern neighborhoods. For the Itäväylä Left, it is important to be visible and accessible—not just during election periods! We participate in neighborhood events, invite politicians to our area to discuss current issues, and create opportunities for local residents to learn about and get involved in our activities.
